Hey there, welcome to my site! I'm Mike Cameron and my
passion for photography started about 9 years ago and not in the typical fashion. As a New England native, I hadn't seen as
much of the U.S. as I'd liked; I decided to travel the country and come back with more than just memories. Being an extremist,
I went out and purchased everything imaginable a photographer would need to practice the art. To prepare for my trip, I
experimented for a month and in the process fell in love creating beauty through the lens.
It's unbelievable how endless the possibilities are in photographic creation. You can capture virtually any mood or perspective using your freedom to create. I strive to reach higher levels in creativity and be more visually perceptive. While I enjoy shooting many subjects, my heart lies in the art of "street photography". Street photography is the photography of life and events surrounding us everyday. It allows the opportunity to take photos of everyday people and places, spontaneously, telling interesting open-ended stories about moments in time that might otherwise go overlooked.
In terms of free time, I don't exactly have extra-curricular activities as most people would. When time permits, I have a strong craving for extreme sports, including skydiving, hang gliding, mountain biking, freestyle snowboarding, and most recently, kart racing. For me, an adrenaline rush is one of the best feelings I can have; my blood pumping as I fight the forces of nature. The only feeling greater than an adrenaline rush is to experience love. I have a beautiful wife and two gorgeous baby girls who I couldn't love more. They are my support and comfort in everyday life. They, are my true passion.
